Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This site is built to collect as little data as reasonably possible. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party tracking scripts, and sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are fetched and self-hosted at build time (via Next.js font optimisation) rather than loaded from Google Fonts at runtime, so your browser never contacts a third-party font server when you visit. Because we do not set non-essential cookies, this site does not show a cookie banner — a banner with nothing to consent to would be more misleading than none.

2. Data Controller

Last Bench Labs UG
Rheinisch-Bergisches TechnologieZentrum GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 75
51429 Bergisch Gladbach, Germany
E-Mail: info@lastbench.de

3. Server Log Data

Like virtually any web server, our hosting infrastructure may automatically record standard technical access data when you visit this site — for example your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, and your browser’s user agent. This is processed for the legitimate interest of keeping the site secure and operating reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), is not combined with any other data we hold about you, and is not used to build a profile of your visit.

4. Contact Form

If you use the contact form, we process the information you provide — name, email address, company, the reason for your enquiry, and your message — solely to respond to that enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or, where you are not entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not share this data with third parties, do not use it for marketing without separate consent, and retain it only for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. The form includes a hidden field used only to detect automated spam submissions; it is never shown to human visitors and is not used for tracking.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies strictly required for the site to function (none are in use at the time of writing) would be limited to what is necessary and would not require consent under applicable law.

6. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling, as defined under Art. 22 GDPR, on this website.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, subject to the applicable legal conditions. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@lastbench.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Last Bench Labs, the competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW).

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this page if the way this site handles data changes — for example if a real contact-form backend, hosting provider, or any third-party service is introduced.
